A yoga therapy consultation is different to your regular yoga class, as it will be an individualized approach to suit your needs, abilities and take into account your current lifestyle and commitments. This consultation is designed to help you understand how to manage your body and mind. You will become a healthier, stronger, happier version of you. If you have the desire and willingness to help yourself and make some changes, anything is possible. A yoga therapy consultation includes: Initial health assessment 1 hr 15 Personalised yoga therapy session 1 hr 15 Therapeutic yoga program You will begin the process by completing a pre-assessment form detailing your health history, current situation, concerns, goals and intentions. In the initial health assessment we will explore your current health conditions (physical, emotional and mental), I will also assess your mobility, flexibility, posture and breathing patterns. In your personalised yoga therapy session we will work with breath, movement, alignment and awareness to experience deep relaxation and healing. I will guide you through your personalised therapeutic yoga program, which you will also receive via email. This program will be easy to follow with some tools and techniques to keep yourself focused and balanced. I would recommend 4-6 weeks for your first follow-up yoga therapy consultation. We will re-assess your health, so the necessary adjustments can be made to your program. Your mind and body will always be changing, so it’s important we are looking at our achievements and setting new goals regularly.
